Job summary

St Patrick's Primary School, Lochinvar invites applications for a permanent full-time Learning Support Coordinator (K-6). The role focuses on coordinating supports for students with disability, developing personalised plans, and working with staff to differentiate learning.

The successful candidate will promote inclusive education, liaise with the CSO, and lead professional learning for staff and families, aligning with NSW Catholic Systemic Schools standards.

Qualifications

• Commitment to Catholic education and school mission.
• Experience with K-6 students with disabilities.
• Ability to collaborate with staff, CSO and external stakeholders.
• Experience delivering professional learning for staff and parents.
• Proven ability to lead a team and manage programs.
• Able to gather and use assessment data to plan adjustments.
• Experience preparing Personalised Plans and Learner Profiles.
• Experience supporting student enrolment and transitions.
• Knowledge of Disability legislation and NCCD requirements.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and coordinate supports for students with disability within the school program.
• Deliver interventions and assist curriculum differentiation.
• Develop and monitor Personalised Plans and Learner Profiles.
• Collaborate with teachers and external providers to develop adjustments.
• Coordinate documentation for transitions and enrolment.
• Support staff development and parent education programs.
• Liaise with staff on privacy and disability obligations.
• Monitor and review adjustments to promote inclusive learning.
