Job summary

Exclaim IT in Queensland is seeking a Learning Specialist for a 12-month contract to deliver learning solutions for a large ICT enterprise content management project. You will design instructional content, develop interactive e-learning, and run training sessions with diverse stakeholders.

You will apply adult learning principles, use Articulate Storyline and Rise, SharePoint Online and LMS tools, and create polished learning assets with Adobe Creative Cloud.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Learning Specialist, Instructional Designer or Learning Designer roles
• Strong instructional design models and adult learning principles
• Experience with Articulate Storyline, Rise and SharePoint Online
• Experience using LMS and e-learning authoring tools to support digital learning
• Adobe Creative Cloud and other design tools experience

Responsibilities

• Design engaging learning content, curricula, course outlines and storyboards
• Develop interactive e-learning, learning resources, knowledge checks and gamification
• Deliver training sessions, labs and drop-in sessions for diverse stakeholder groups
• Evaluate learner progress and metrics to identify skills gaps
• Collaborate with SMEs and technical teams to support business readiness and transitions to new systems

• Deliver training sessions, practice labs and drop-in sessions for diverse stakeholder groups.
• Evaluate learner progress, feedback and performance metrics to identify skills gaps and improve learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with SMEs, technical teams and stakeholders to support business readiness and a smooth transition to new systems.

Highly desirable criteria

• Bring 7+ years' experience in a similar Learning Specialist, Instructional Designer or Learning Designer role.
• Apply strong instructional design models, adult learning principles and curriculum development practices.
• Demonstrate hands-on experience with Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise and SharePoint Online.
• Use Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools to support digital learning.
• Create polished learning assets with Adobe Creative Cloud and other design tools.

Desirable criteria

• Hold tertiary qualifications in instructional design, education, change management or a related discipline.
• Show experience within an ICT programme or project environment.
• Apply accessibility principles across learning content and delivery.
• Bring previous experience within a regulatory or government environment.
