Job summary

Exclaim IT | IT Recruitment Agency seeks a Learning Specialist to drive instructional design for a large-scale government ICT transformation in Queensland. You will craft curricula, storyboards and interactive e-learning, and deliver sessions across diverse stakeholder groups.

You will apply adult learning principles, leverage Articulate Storyline/Rise and SharePoint Online, and collaborate with SMEs to ensure effective capability uplift within a complex environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Learning Specialist, Instructional Designer or Learning Designer roles.
• Apply strong instructional design models, adult learning principles and curriculum development practices.
• Hands-on experience with Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise and SharePoint Online.
• Use LMS and e-learning authoring tools to support digital learning.
• Create polished learning assets with Adobe Creative Cloud and other design tools.

Responsibilities

• Design engaging learning content, curricula, course outlines, lesson plans and storyboards.
• Develop interactive e-learning, learning resources, knowledge checks and gamification activities.
• Deliver training sessions, practice labs and drop-in sessions for diverse stake holder groups.
• Evaluate learner progress, feedback and performance metrics to identify skills gaps and improve learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with SMEs, technical teams and stakeholders to support business readiness and a smooth transition to new systems.
