Job summary

Country Fire Authority (CFA) is seeking a collaborative Coordinator Learning Governance to ensure high-quality, compliant training across Victoria. You will support governance frameworks, provide expert advice, and coordinate activities to maintain national RTO standards while driving continuous improvement for learners.

In this role you will analyse data, lead audits, monitor records, and collaborate with learning teams to embed consistent governance practices across CFA.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent and understanding of RTO standards.
• Strong compliance and quality control experience supporting RTO status maintenance.
• Excellent written communication to develop reports and convey training objectives.
• Proven administrative skills with word processing, spreadsheets and enterprise systems.
• Understanding of competency-based learning and development practices.
• Experience managing multiple projects within budget, quality and time.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on learning governance, compliance and emerging issues.
• Coordinate governance and compliance activities for CFA's RTO operations.
• Analyse governance data to identify risks and drive improvement.
• Review governance practices and recommend quality and compliance enhancements.
• Lead validation, auditing and compliance activities to maintain RTO registration.
• Monitor training/learner records to ensure compliance with RTO requirements.
• Support LMS implementation, governance and data quality maintenance.
• Collaborate with learning teams to embed governance across CFA.
• Contribute to learning frameworks, policies and governance resources.
• Prepare reports, briefing papers and governance communications.
