Job summary

Country Fire Authority (CFA) in Victoria is seeking a collaborative Coordinator Learning Governance to ensure high-quality, compliant training for members across Victoria. You will support governance and quality frameworks for CFA's RTO operations, working with the Manager Quality and Evaluation to maintain national standards.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent and understanding of the arrangements, standards and environment of an RTO.
• Strong compliance and quality control experience, leading compliance activities that support maintenance of RTO status.
• Well-developed written communication to develop reports and convey training information to stakeholders.
• Proven administrative skills with word processing, spreadsheets and enterprise systems.
• Contemporary understanding of competency-based learning and development practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on learning governance, compliance and emerging issues.
• Coordinate governance and compliance activities that support CFA's Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
• Analyse governance data to identify risks, inform decisions and drive continuous improvement.
• Review governance practices and recommend improvements to strengthen quality and compliance.
• Lead validation, auditing and compliance activities to maintain RTO registration and meet national standards.
• Monitor training, assessment and learner records to ensure compliance with RTO and organisational requirements.
• Support the implementation, governance and ongoing maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Collaborate with learning and development teams to embed governance and compliance across CFA.
• Contribute governance expertise to developing learning frameworks, policies and resources.
• Prepare reports, briefing papers and governance communications.
