Job summary

Fraser Coast Anglican College in Hervey Bay, QLD invites applications for Learning Enrichment Teacher Aide roles. You will support students with individual plans, liaise with the Learning Enrichment team and teachers, and help deliver differentiated programs to suit diverse learning needs.

About the Roles

We are looking for experienced and innovative Learning Enrichment Teacher Aides to contribute to the positive learning environment at FCAC and share their passion for life‑long learning with our enthusiastic students. Our students value educators who demonstrate an ability to build positive and collaborative relationships with both teachers and students, while assisting teachers to deliver differentiated programs and employing a variety of engaging methods to effectively communicate their knowledge and understanding to all learners.

Positions Available

22.5 hours per week, term time

Hours of work 8:35am to 1:05pm, Monday to Friday.

30 hours per week, term time

Hours of work will be 8:00am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday

Duties

As a Learning Enrichment Teacher Aide, you will:

Be a pivotal support person for students with individual plans.

Liaise with the Director of Learning Enrichment – Primary/Secondary and Teaching staff to provide inclusive and supportive adjustments to help remove barriers to the learning environment.

Other duties as requested as outlined in the role statement.

Skills and experience required

Certificate III in School Based Education Support or a related field, highly desirable.

Experience supporting students with diverse learning and educational needs including personal care, highly desirable.

Current First Aid Certificate is desirable but not essential.

Valid paid working with children check (Blue Card) is essential.
