About the Role

We are seeking a caring, capable and highly organised Teacher Assistant – Learning Enrichment, to commence in 2027, to support students across our Middle and Senior Schools.

This role provides practical learning support for students with diagnosed disabilities and diverse learning needs, including assistance with literacy, numeracy, subject-specific tasks, classroom participation, excursions, breaks and Learning Enrichment programs.

Reporting to the Head of Learning Enrichment – Middle and Senior School, the Teacher Assistant LE works collaboratively with Learning Enrichment Teachers, classroom teachers, students and other Teacher Assistants to support differentiated teaching strategies and positive student engagement.

This position will suit someone who is patient, flexible and relational, with the ability to build respectful connections with students while maintaining professional boundaries and working within school protocols.

About You

You are a compassionate and dependable professional who enjoys helping students access learning, and participate positively in school life. You bring strong communication, organisation and record-keeping skills, and are able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

You will hold a Certificate IV in Education Support, or equivalent, with specific qualifications relating to working with students with disability, as well as a current Positive Blue Card. Having a personal alignment and commitment to the Mission and Vision of Nambour Christian College, you will actively support the Christian ethos of the College and contribute positively to the spiritual life of our community.
