Job summary

Padua College on the Mornington Peninsula invites applications for the role of Learning Diversity Tyabb – POL 2, a 3-year tenured Position of Leadership alongside an ongoing teaching appointment. The Coordinator will lead a team to provide inclusive education and support for students with disabilities or additional learning needs.

The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to implement RtI and MTSS while ensuring compliance with Disability Standards for Education (2005).

Qualifications

• Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration required for teaching positions.
• Working with Children Check and a National Police Record Check required for non-teaching positions.

Responsibilities

• liaising with students, parents and staff to oversee the Learning Program, including Personalised Learning Plans (PLPs) for students with a disability or additional needs
• collaborating with Learning Leaders and Directors to determine suitable pedagogy for diverse learning needs
• leading and coordinating the Learning Diversity support staff on the Campus
• overseeing MTSS processes and alignment with the Disability Standards for Education (2005)
• providing assessments, progress monitoring, and timely adjustments to support individual learning and development
