Job summary

Stratco is seeking a proactive Learning & Development Specialist to design, deliver and continually improve onboarding, induction and compliance learning across the business. You will work closely with the People & Culture team to build structured programs that welcome new hires and support their early productivity.

Join Stratco to develop engaging, learner‑centred content across digital, face‑to-face and blended formats, ensuring mandatory training is tracked and reported accurately.

Qualifications

• Experience designing structured learning and onboarding programs.
• Experience with LMS platforms (Totara or similar).
• Understanding of adult learning principles.

Your mandate

We're looking for a proactive and practical Learning & Development Specialist to design, deliver and continuously improve onboarding, induction and compliance learning programs across Stratco. You’ll bring structure, energy and a learner-first mindset to the way we welcome new people, helping them build confidence, understand what’s expected and feel connected from day one.

Working closely with leaders, subject matter experts and the broader People & Culture team, you will help new starters build the skills, confidence and connection they need to succeed, while ensuring mandatory training is assigned, completed, tracked and reported accurately.

Key responsibilities include:

• Design, coordinate and improve structured induction and onboarding programs
• Embed safety, compliance, company values and role expectations into the onboarding experience.
• Create practical learning solutions across digital, face-to-face and blended formats.
• Track mandatory training completion and provide clear insights to support compliance.
• Partner with leaders and subject matter experts to keep onboarding content aligned, current and consistent, building relevant learning content.
• Identify improvement opportunities to improve the learner experience
• Support continuous improvement in onboarding, employee experience, engagement and time-to-productivity.

We are looking for an exceptional, collaborative and solutions focused L&D professional who enjoys turning business needs into practical learning experiences! You bring experience designing and delivering structured learning, onboarding or capability development initiatives, and confidence using learning systems, digital tools and reporting to support compliance and improvement.

Understanding of adult learning principles or organisational change will be an advantage, experience with LMS platforms, Totara or similar advantageous.
