Job description

We’re seeking a confident and experienced Learning & Development (L&D) Lead to join our Group Organisational Development team. In this role, you’ll report to the Head of Organisational Development and work closely with leaders across the APAC region to uncover the root causes of performance challenges and implement tailored learning solutions – from facilitating DISC-based team workshops and coaching leaders, to designing custom eLearning modules.

As a key individual contributor, you’ll play a critical role in shaping and delivering training across the region. Your initial focus will be on building capability within support teams and leading the design of online training modules for the broader Group.

You’ll also support the successful launch and embedding of the Group’s Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring a smooth transition to business-as-usual.

We’re looking for a proactive self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment, operates with autonomy, and values being part of a connected and high-performing HR and L&D team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Design & Delivery: Design, deliver, and continuously improve engaging blended learning programs for support staff across the Group, including the creation of online modules in partnership with the Global HR team.
  • LMS Implementation & Support: Support the successful rollout and ongoing management of the Group’s Learning Management System, including content updates, reporting, stakeholder training, and system enhancements.
  • Systems & Process Training: Develop and deliver training to support HR systems transformation, partnering with IT and Member Firms to embed new processes and technologies.
  • Capability Development: Assist in designing and embedding the IPH Capability Framework for support roles across the region.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion best practices, innovation, and a culture of learning and development, while actively contributing to the broader Group HR team and organisational values.

About You:

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Learning & Development or similar roles.
  • Prior experience in a legal or professional services environment is preferred
  • Proven track record designing and facilitating blended learning for support teams within a professional services environment is highly desirable (systems, process and soft skills).
  • Proficiency in using authoring tools such as Articulate 360 and Captivate are essential.
  • Ability to understand and translate LMS requirements into system build, testing and maintenance.
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment is preferred.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Highly effective facilitation skills with the ability to engage and inspire learners at all levels.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive and adaptable approach.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to act as a trusted advisor.
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to adapt and adjust approaches to meet varying needs.
