Newcastle Anglican is seeking an experienced Learning and Development Advisor to join our Organisational Development team. You will design engaging eLearning and manage our LMS, coordinating learning programs across aged care, disability, community services and education.

You will bring at least three years in L&D, strong Articulate 360 skills and a proven ability to work with stakeholders to deliver practical learning solutions that support organisational priorities.

Newcastle Anglican is seeking an experienced and proactive Learning and Development Advisor to join our Organisational Development team.

This is a varied, hands-on role combining eLearning design and development, Learning Management System (LMS) administration, and learning program coordination.

Working across our diverse services, including aged care, disability, community services and education, you will develop practical, engaging learning solutions that build workforce capability and support organisational priorities.

This role is a 12-month contract.

About the role

Reporting to the Organisational Development Manager, you will:

• Design, develop and maintain engaging eLearning using Articulate 360 or equivalent authoring tools.
• Administer and optimise our LMS, including course management, learning assignments, reporting and data integrity.
• Partner with managers, People & Culture Business Partners and subject matter experts to identify learning needs and develop fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Coordinate and support the delivery of digital, blended and face-to-face learning programs.
• Develop compliance training reports, analyse learning data and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Evaluate learning effectiveness and continuously improve learning content and delivery.
• Support student placement coordination, including liaison with education providers, orientation and placement administration.

About you?

You are an experienced L&D professional who enjoys combining learning design expertise with the practical application of learning technologies.

You will bring:

• At least three years' experience in Learning and Development or Organisational Development.
• Demonstrated experience administering an LMS, including reporting, learning assignments and course management.
• Strong eLearning design and development skills, ideally using Articulate 360 (Rise and Storyline).
• Sound knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles.
• Experience coordinating and evaluating learning programs.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and organisational skills.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Cert Iv Training and Assessment

Experience in aged care, disability, community services or education, and student placement coordination, will be highly regarded.
