Job summary

seek.com.au is seeking a reliable Lead Hand / Site Supervisor to manage day-to-day operations across civil projects in South East Queensland. You will lead a small team operating heavy plant with a focus on safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Minimum 3–5 years’ experience with heavy plant and prior leading hand responsibilities, plus a current White Card and relevant tickets, are required. Competitive pay and ongoing career opportunities available.

We are a financially strong, rapidly expanding civil construction and recycling business in South East Queensland, delivering major projects in demolition, earthworks, civil works, and recycling. About the Role We are seeking reliable, safety-focused Lead Hand / Site Supervisor to take charge of day-to-day site operations across one of our sites, it could be Recycling, Demolition, Earthworks and Civil divisions. You will lead a small team operating a variety of plant including excavators, screeners, crushers, loaders, and other mobile plant while maintaining high standards of productivity, safety, and quality.

We need someone who has at least some experience as a Leading Hand, or clear leadership aptitude. You might have led teams in a different industry but bring strong civil/plant experience and all the necessary tickets.

You will need to be really good at your job, we are looking for someone to lead from the front, sometimes jumping into a machine, other times keeping on top of admin or health and safety, or ensuring the job is running to plan and budget and of course to keep the site running smoothly.
