Job summary

Macmahon is seeking a hands-on site supervisor to join our Production crews at the Telfer mine. You’ll help keep operations safe, reliable, and running smoothly by leading a team with a strong safety culture across varied mining projects.

The role emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement, with a focus on meeting KPIs and maintaining high safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within mine site environment.
• Ability to work as part of a team and step up when needed
• Commitment to safe work practices and job quality
• Demonstrated ability to work as a team, “do the right thing” and drive continuous improvement.
• Proven commitment to safety
• Current C Class Drivers Licence.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the productivity of dozers, drills, and load-and-haul activities
• Identify deviations from KPIs and implement corrective actions to address them
• Promote the safe operation of plant and equipment to prevent damage, misuse and safety incidents
• Maintain short-interval control boards and provide feedback to the crew on performance.
• Set clear expectations: guide, develop and recognise your team
• Foster a speak-up culture where everyone is respected
