Job summary

Macmahon is seeking skilled Heavy Equipment Operators to join our Production crews at Greenbushes. You’ll operate heavy ancillary and production mining equipment to help meet production targets in our Surface operation.

Roster is DIDO 2:2 day/night. We value safety, teamwork, and a strong crew culture; benefits include parental leave, novated leases, wellbeing program, and retail discounts.

You’ll work within a skilled and experienced team, operating heavy ancillary and production mining equipment to safely meet production targets across our Surface operation at Greenbushes.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre-starts and report hazards or defects immediately
• Follow plans, instructions and traffic management rules

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in mining operating the following equipment:
• Previous experience in the mining industry operating:
• Trucks and Water Carts: Caterpillar 785
• Loader: Caterpillar 992
• Track Dozers: Caterpillar D10T
• Graders: Caterpillar 16M
• Excavators: Hitachi EX3600 EX2600-6 and Hitachi EX1900-6 (an advantage)
• Strong safety focus and ability to speak up
• A team mindset and reliable work ethic
