Fetch Recruitment Pty is looking for an experienced and hands-on excavator operator to join their team. This role suits someone who enjoys on-site variety, has supervisor experience, can operate multiple machines, and isn’t afraid to jump out of the machine to help.

This contract-to-full-time opportunity offers 45+ hours per week with overtime rates, and work on major civil and infrastructure projects across Melbourne.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years’ experience operating excavators on civil or infrastructure projects.
• 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• RII in excavator and other relevant tickets (e.g. Roller, front end loader, backhoe).
• GPS experience is a bonus - Topcon & Trimble.

Aufgaben

• Operate excavators (5T–35T) across a range of civil works, including pile drilling.
• Read and interpret construction drawings confidently.
• Supervise subcontractors and coordinate site works when required.
• Help with formwork, concrete pours, and drainage work as needed.
• Carry out daily machine maintenance and inspections.
• Keep site documentation up to date (SWMS, ITPs, Toolbox talks, inductions).
• Maintain safe work practices and support a positive team environment.

• Ability to pass drug and alcoholtest
• Must be able to provide 2 relevant references
