Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of excavator experience on 13.5–36 ton machines.
• Hammer work, sorting and loading experience.
• Experience around live services, subdivision and drainage works.
• Sound OH&S knowledge onsite.
• White Card required.
• Own transport and a valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report to clients onsite and Operations; strong communication essential.
• Fill out daily onsite work dockets and paperwork.
• Report servicing or maintenance items for earthmoving equipment to Ops Dept.
• Perform pre-checks and greasing of equipment.

Mad Brothers Earthmoving is a Melbourne-based company offering exciting opportunities for multiple new plant operator positions.

We have 2 x Excavator operator roles available with immediate start as an option.

The role will be from the Craigieburn through to the West, starting as Casual, leading to full-time employment for the right people.

EXCAVATOR OPERATOR:

The successful applicants must have the following attributes:

Minimum 5 years of Excavator experience, ranging from 13.5 Ton to 36 Ton machines.

Highly experienced in hammer work, sorting and loading are necessary.

Previous experience in trimming, loading and digging around live services, subdivision and drainage works is a must.

Sound knowledge of the Construction & Civil work Industry onsite OH&S requirements.

Have a Construction Industry induction white card.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.

Your responsibilities/duties will include:

• You will be reporting directly to our clients onsite and our operations Department. Excellent communication skills is a must.


• Filling out daily onsite work dockets and paperwork.


• You will be responsible for reporting any servicing or maintenance items for your earthmoving equipment to the Ops Dept.


• Pre-checks, greasing of the equipment

Required Qualifications:

Have a valid Nationally Accredited Ticket for plant equipment.

Have your own reliable transport (with a travel allowance paid to you).

Have a valid driver's license (also, if you have your HR/HC license, it is an advantage, but not necessary).
