This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and motivated carpenter who enjoys challenging, high-quality residential construction and is ready to take on greater responsibility on site. Working closely with the Site Foreman, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of the project, leading by example, supporting other carpenters and apprentices, and ensuring works are completed to Hatch's high standards. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is equally comfortable on the tools and helping coordinate the team around them.
Work closely with the Site Foreman to coordinate daily site activities and maintain progress.
Undertake all aspects of carpentry, from structural works, formwork and framing through to detailed finishes and fit-off.
Interpret architectural, structural and construction drawings accurately.
Assist with site set-out, planning and preparation for upcoming trades.

Strong experience across structural carpentry, framing, formwork and detailed finishing.
Excellent ability to read and interpret architectural and structural plans.
Previous experience supervising or mentoring other carpenters and apprentices.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to anticipate what's needed next on site.
A sharp eye for detail and a genuine commitment to quality workmanship.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a willingness to get stuck in.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with site teams and subcontractors.
A sound understanding of WHS requirements and safe work practices.
