Job summary

DHL Supply Chain Australia is seeking an experienced Leading Hand or Storeperson ready to step into a Leading Hand role. You will lead a team, drive KPI performance, and oversee inbound/outbound, picking/packing and stock control in a high-volume warehouse.

Key requirements include operational experience, a forklift licence (desirable), strong customer service skills, and proficiency with WMS and Excel. This role is on-site in Queensland and offers safety-focused culture, training, and career

Qualifications

• Operational experience in a high-volume 3PL warehouse.
• Forklift licence desirable (e.g., High Reach, Counter Balance, Double Deep).
• Customer-facing experience delivering superior service.
• Ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Experience with WMS systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to ensure objectives are communicated and KPIs achieved daily.

• Interact with customers and maintain strong relationships; respond to inquiries promptly.

We are looking for an experienced Leading Hand, or Storeperson to step up into a Leading Hand role. Your duties will include:

• Leading a team to ensure objectives are communicated, and KPI’s achieved on a daily basis
• Ensure operational performance across functions including inbound, outbound, picking/packing, and inventory
• Customer interaction including maintaining good working relationships and responding to all enquiries in a timely manner
• Maintaining stock integrity in warehouse including adhering to DHL policies and procedures
• Following safe work practices and work instructions
• Assist with identifying training needs and opportunities to develop the team

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven operational experience working in a high volume 3PL warehouse environment
• Forklift Licence e.g. High Reach, Counter Balance and/or Double Deep (highly desirable)
• Proven customer facing experience with the ability to deliver superior customer service
• Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• WMS experience – including exposure to the various functions
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills including Excel
