Job summary

DHL Supply Chain Australia is seeking a Leading Hand (or Storeperson) to step up into a Leading Hand role in a high-volume 3PL warehouse. You will lead a team across inbound/outbound, picking/packing and inventory while maintaining stock integrity and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Proven operational experience in a high-volume 3PL warehouse environment.
• Forklift Licence is highly desirable.
• Proven customer-facing experience with ability to deliver excellent service.
• Effective communication with multiple stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• WMS experience including exposure to various functions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Leading a team to ensure objectives are communicated, and KPI’s achieved on a daily basis
• Ensure operational performance across functions including inbound, outbound, picking/packing, and inventory
• Customer interaction including maintaining good working relationships and responding to all enquiries in a timely manner
• Maintaining stock integrity in warehouse including adhering to DHL policies and procedures
• Following safe work practices and work instructions
• Assist with identifying training needs and opportunities to develop the team

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven operational experience working in a high volume 3PL warehouse environment
• Forklift Licence e.g. High Reach, Counter Balance and/or Double Deep (highly desirable)
• Proven customer facing experience with the ability to deliver superior customer service
• Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• WMS experience – including exposure to the various functions
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills including Excel
