Job summary

Bolton Clarke seeks a Lead Workday Support professional to lead a team across Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne offices. You will manage incidents, configurations and governance for Workday HCM, guiding complex issue resolution and platform upgrades.

The role requires proven Workday expertise, strong leadership and stakeholder engagement to balance operations with system improvements and strategic initiatives. A Bachelor’s degree and Workday ITIL qualifications are valued.

Qualifications

• Previous Workday experience is essential for this position.
• Demonstrated experience supporting, administering and optimising Workday in a large or complex organisation.
• Strong functional knowledge of Workday HCM, business processes, security, configuration and data management.
• Proven people leadership experience, including coaching, workload management and capability development.
• Experience managing enterprise application support, incidents, service levels, releases, testing and controlled change.
• Strong governance, risk, privacy, security and audit capability.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• The ability to balance operational delivery, system improvements and competing priorities.
• A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent experience, is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the Workday Support team.
• Manage Workday incidents, service requests, priorities and escalations.
• Oversee platform configuration, business processes, security, data and workflows.
• Lead the resolution of complex and business-critical Workday issues.
• Manage Workday releases, upgrades, testing and production deployment.
• Strengthen platform governance, data quality, privacy, security and audit controls.
• Manage Workday vendor relationships and support services.
• Oversee the Workday change pipeline and contribute to the platform roadmap.
• Transition system enhancements and projects into business-as-usual support.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve self-service and enhance the employee and leader experience.
