Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Water Infrastructure Engineer to join our Townsville/Rockhampton team. This role will focus on water infrastructure design across pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs and treatment facilities for North Queensland clients.

The ideal candidate will lead delivery from BD through design to construction, providing technical leadership and mentoring junior engineers, while building strong client relationships in a global infrastructure practice.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in complex water infrastructure projects.
• Ability to lead delivery from BD through design to construction.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and designers and grow talent pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery from business development through design to construction, managing commercial aspects.
• Provide technical leadership with multidisciplinary teams and ensure quality, on-time, budget-compliant outcomes.
• Mentor junior staff and build relationships with clients across sectors.
