Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Water Infrastructure Engineer to join our Townsville or Rockhampton teams. You will lead water projects from concept through to construction, guiding design, delivery, and client engagement while ensuring budget and schedule adherence.

Ideally you will have tertiary qualifications with RPEQ/CPEng considered highly, and a track record of mentoring junior staff on complex infrastructure programs in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications essential for the role.
• RPEQ or CPEng highly regarded for candidates.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary water projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery from design through construction, including commercial aspects.
• Provide technical leadership with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and maintain client relationships.
• Ensure quality, schedule, and budget compliance on projects.
