Job summary

The Nature Parks in Cowes, VIC, is seeking an Experience Supervisor for Penguin Parade and Nobbies. This full-time role leads the Visitor Experience team, coordinates daily operations, and supports staff and volunteers to deliver exceptional visitor experiences during peak periods.

You will work with an experienced leadership team to ensure site presentation, guest services, and safety standards are maintained.

Qualifications

• Leadership and people management experience in a visitor-facing role.
• Strong communication and guest service focus.
• Ability to coordinate daily operations and rosters.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and supervision of daily operations ensuring high-quality visitor experiences.
• Actively review visitor products, site presentation and safety, and provide feedback to staff.
• Liaise with site operations including trade partners & MICE groups.
• Oversee daily operations and visitor services to ensure operational excellence.
• Report and manage operational issues with shift leads and Duty Manager (Penguin Parade only).
• Prepare reports on attraction activities, performance, safety and visitor experience.
• Conduct site safety inspections and audits.
• Lead end of operations and closure processes.
• Provide clear direction, delegation of tasks, and communication to the Visitor Experience team.
• Lead and support staff processes including performance development reviews and mentoring.
