Job summary

Remeed Solutions is seeking a Lead Technician to drive restoration projects from initial assessment through completion on-site. You will act as a technical expert, supervise field teams, and ensure work aligns with safety standards and client expectations.

You will coordinate with technicians, clients, insurers and subcontractors, guiding progress and maintaining clear communication across the project lifecycle. A White Card and driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in restoration, building remediation or related field.
• IICRC certifications highly regarded.
• Demonstrated experience leading technicians or field-based teams.
• Strong problem-solving ability with on-site decision-making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Valid full driver’s licence (manual preferred) and White Card.

• Lead and coordinate restoration projects including water extraction, structural drying, smoke and soot removal, and mould remediation.
• Conduct site assessments and moisture mapping; develop restoration plans using industry tools.
• Supervise technicians, labourers and contractors to ensure safe, efficient delivery.
• Ensure all restoration works comply with IICRC standards, OH&S requirements and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate job documentation including reports, time logs, and insurance paperwork.
• Communicate with clients, insurers and internal teams to provide updates and ensure customer satisfaction.

About the Role

As our Lead Technician, you will play a key role in delivering restoration projects from initial site assessment through to completion. Acting as a technical expert and on-site leader, you will oversee restoration works, guide field teams and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with industry standards. You will work closely with technicians, clients, insurers and subcontractors to coordinate and complete restoration activities, manage site progress and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

In this hands on role, you will:

• Lead and coordinate restoration projects including water extraction, structural drying, smoke and soot removal, and mould remediation
• Conduct site assessments, moisture mapping and develop restoration plans using industry tools and software
• Supervise and mentor technicians, labourers and contractors to ensure safe and efficient project delivery
• Ensure all restoration works comply with IICRC standards, OH&S requirements and company procedures
• Maintain accurate job documentation including reports, time logs and insurance-related paperwork
• Communicate with clients, insurers and internal teams to provide updates and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction

About You

• Proven experience in restoration, building remediation or a related field

• Strong problem-solving ability with the confidence to make decisions on-site
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
