Job summary

Frontline Recruitment Group in Brisbane is seeking a reliable Restoration Technician to join a property restoration specialist. This is a permanent, full-time hands-on field role with a focus on practical problem solving across diverse projects.

You will perform water, fire, smoke and mould restoration on residential and commercial properties, using specialist equipment and coordinating with insurers, builders and homeowners to restore properties safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

Our client is an established property restoration specialist responding to residential and commercial properties affected by water damage, fire, smoke, mould and other incidents. They work closely with insurers, builders, property managers and homeowners to restore damaged properties to safe and suitable condition. Due to continued demand, they're seeking a reliable and experienced Restoration Technician to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a hands-on field role where no two days are the same, offering genuine variety and the chance to solve practical problems independently across diverse restoration projects.

• Hands-on field work across water, fire, smoke and mould restoration on residential and commercial properties
• Permanent full-time position with a consistent pipeline of insurance and restoration work
• Opportunity to develop expertise with specialist restoration equipment and pursue additional IICRC certifications

Preferred Requirements

• Previous experience as a Restoration Technician, Remediation Technician or similar role is desirable
• Will also consider someone with a general trade based background who wants to learn the industry and develop a career!
• Hands-on experience with water damage, structural drying, fire and smoke remediation
• Proficiency using air movers, dehumidifiers, moisture meters and other specialist restoration equipment
• Strong practical problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to assess property damage and determine required works
• Current driver's licence, reliable approach, and ability to work independently while maintaining professional communication with clients and homeowners

Preferred Qualifications

• Construction White Card
• IICRC qualifications or Water Restoration Technician (WRT) certification
• Demonstrated experience in a regulated or safety-critical environment
