DRC (NSW) Pty Ltd specialises in emergency response and restoration. When someone's home or business has been damaged by water, mould, fire or a storm, we're often the people they call when they don't know what to do next.

We work closely with insurers, assessors, strata managers, builders and property owners to get things sorted. We're growing, we're busy and we're looking for good people to grow with us.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in restoration or water damage.
• Experience with structural drying and moisture management.
• Experience with mould remediation.
• Experience working on insurance jobs.
• A good understanding of restoration equipment.
• The ability to work on your own when needed.
• A current NSW Driver Licence.
• IICRC qualification and White Card are bonuses.

Job description

You will be responsible for carrying out restoration works from the initial response through to completion, while maintaining high standards of workmanship, documentation, safety and customer service.

Your day-to-day work may include:

Water extraction and clean-up

Moisture testing and mapping

Setting up and monitoring drying equipment

Structural drying

Mould remediation and containment

Strip-outs and demolition of damaged materials

Fire and smoke restoration

Make-safe and emergency response work

Taking photos, completing reports and keeping job records up to date

Speaking with customers and keeping them informed

Identifying problems on-site and working out how to fix them

Keeping your vehicle, equipment and work areas organised

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and understands that restoration is about more than simply removing water or setting up drying equipment.

Ideally, you'll have:

3+ years' experience in restoration or water damage

Experience with structural drying and moisture management

Experience with mould remediation

Experience working on insurance jobs

A good understanding of restoration equipment

The ability to work on your own when needed

A current NSW Driver Licence

IICRC qualifications and a White Card are a bonus, but they're not essential.
