Job summary

Arise Restoration Group in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Restoration Technician to join our expanding national team. You’ll respond to emergencies, assess damage and implement restoration processes across fire, flood and mould events.

You’ll work with a supportive crew, use specialised equipment, document progress and communicate with clients and project managers to restore homes efficiently and safely.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years experience as Restoration Technician (IICRC WRT)
• Knowledge of water, fire, smoke and mould remediation
• Strong problem solving and adaptability
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Physically fit with a valid driver’s license
• Computer literacy for documenting progress

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls and assess damage
• Carry out site assessments and deliver detailed reports
• Execute restoration procedures including water extraction, drying and mould remediation
• Restore structural integrity through repairs and renovations
• Safely operate restoration equipment following WH&S protocols
• Communicate progress with project managers and clients throughout the process

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Restoration Technician with ARG , you will be at the forefront of providing life‑changing services to clients impacted by fire, flood, or malicious damage. This diverse and rewarding role includes:

• Responding to emergency calls and assessing damage
• Carrying out site assessments and delivering detailed reports
• Executing key restoration procedures including water extraction, drying, dehumidification, and mould remediation
• Restoring structural integrity through repairs and renovations
• Safely operating restoration equipment while adhering to WH&S protocols
• Communicating with project managers and clients to keep them informed and reassured throughout the process

Who Are We Looking For?

You’ll be successful in this role if you have:

• Minimum 2+ years experience as a Restoration Technician (IICRC - WRT certified)
• In-depth knowledge of home and contents restoration, cleaning, and construction
• Familiarity with water damage, fire, smoke, and mould remediation
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and the flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances
• A high level of communication and interpersonal skills
• Good physical fitness for demanding tasks
• A valid driver’s license

• Computer literacy to help document and communicate progress
• Qualifications in mould/fire will be well received
