Decode Group is seeking an experienced Structural Site Supervisor to oversee formwork operations across residential, commercial, and complex projects in Newcastle and surrounding areas. You will coordinate formwork teams, subcontractors and site activities to ensure safe, efficient delivery to high standards.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong knowledge of formwork systems, and the ability to read structural drawings.

Qualifications

Proven experience supervising formwork teams on residential, commercial, or complex building projects.
Strong knowledge of formwork systems and structural requirements.
Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and plans.
Experience coordinating labour, materials, plant and subcontractors.
Strong leadership, safety mindset and ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsabilités

Supervise and coordinate formwork teams across construction sites.
Plan daily works, allocate labour and coordinate materials/equipment.
Set out and oversee formwork installation including slabs, columns, walls, stairs, etc.
Read and interpret structural drawings and specifications.
Ensure formwork is constructed accurately per engineering requirements.
Coordinate with Site Managers, Project Managers, Engineers and other trades to maintain programme.
Monitor quality, productivity and workmanship through all stages.
Conduct pre-pour inspections and ensure formwork readiness for concrete placement.
Manage stripping and dismantling of formwork safely and efficiently.
Identify and resolve site issues, discrepancies and potential delays.
Ensure WHS compliance and site procedures.
