Job summary

Decode Group is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support project delivery across Newcastle and surrounding areas. You will partner with the Project Manager to drive quality, safety, and on-time completion on residential and commercial builds.

The role requires a tertiary Building Management/ QS qualification and at least two years in a Site Engineer position, with strong communication and document control skills. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

Two years industry experience as Site Engineer.
Tertiary degree or diploma in Building Management, QS or equivalent.
Computer literate with Word, Excel, programming and ACONEX or similar document control software.

Responsibilities

Provide immediate support to the Project Manager and help meet project objectives.
Collate and distribute shop drawings; review coordination conflicts.
Raise RFIs as necessary and assist with variation assessments.
Review contractor programs and assist monthly project reporting.
Support IMS processes and deliver maintenance manuals and as-built docs.
Help meet milestones and manage prelim costs within limits.
