Job summary

Beyond Electrical Engineering (BEE) is seeking a Principal Structural Engineer to lead the delivery of structural design for renewable energy and power infrastructure. You will shape BEE's structural capability while mentoring engineers and collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

Based in Australia with potential travel, you will influence technical standards and ensure practical, constructible solutions across substations, BESS, solar and related projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of consulting engineering experience in structural engineering.
• Experience leading design delivery on complex renewable energy and power projects.
• Ability to mentor engineers and designers and set technical standards.
• Strong collaboration with clients, project managers and other disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering design for renewable energy and power infrastructure from concept to construction support.
• Develop and review structural designs for steel and concrete structures, foundations, supports and equipment.
• Mentor engineers, establish design processes and quality practices as the team grows.
• Coordinate with civil, electrical and other disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
• Provide technical input across project delivery including site investigations and design reviews.
• Contribute to bids, proposals and expansion of renewables and power offering.
