Stantec is seeking a Senior Energy Engineer/Consultant in Perth to deliver renewable energy and power systems projects across Australia. The role involves leading electrical design for solar, wind and BESS, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and ensuring grid compliance with DNSPs and regulators.

You bring a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (Power), 6+ years in renewables, MV/HV design experience, and strong stakeholder engagement to shape Australia’s energy transition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a Power Engineering major.
• 6+ years delivering renewable energy and power systems projects.
• Experience in HV/LV design and protection coordination.
• Knowledge of Australian Standards (AS/NZS 3000, 2067, 4777, 5033).

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design of solar PV, wind and BESS projects.
• Develop HV/LV system designs, protection schemes, switchgear specs.
• Produce single-line diagrams, schematics and layouts.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams from concept to commissioning.
• Engage DNSPs/regulators for grid compliance and approvals.
• Prepare technical and commercial reports for clients.
