QT Hotels & Resorts on the Gold Coast is seeking a Chief Steward to oversee the stewarding department across our kitchens and F&B venues. You will ensure clean equipment, comply with HACCP, manage rosters, and monitor cost while upholding health and safety standards.

In this hands-on role you’ll lead a team, collaborate with the Executive Chef and outlets, and drive a culture of pride in presentation and service.

Formación

• At least 1-2 years' experience in a similar role with leadership skills.
• Experience in a stewarding environment servicing multiple F&B outlets.
• Strong communication; able to train and guide the team.
• Good time management and organisational skills; rostering a bonus.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 30 kilograms.
• Pride in presentation and uniform.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the stewarding team, manage rosters and labour cost.
• Maintain clean kitchens and ensure HACCP and food safety standards.
• Coordinate with Executive Chef and F&B outlets for clean equipment.
• Be visible during busy service periods in restaurants and banqueting.
• Manage OSE inventory, cost, wastage, and recycling initiatives.
• Build a connected team across departments and adapt to needs.
