Qantas Group is seeking a Lead Security Engineer - Endpoint, Identity & Data Protection to own core security platforms end-to-end, spanning endpoint, identity, web and data protection. The role is hands-on and requires collaboration with business and technology teams across the Group to ensure strong control coverage and production readiness.

You will shape multi-year plans, evaluate new capabilities, and drive deployment while reporting on platform health and policy tuning.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years in cyber security or technology risk with hands-on security engineering experience.
• Hands-on ownership of enterprise security platforms from evaluation to production.
• Strong knowledge of endpoint and identity controls, cloud and SaaS security.

Responsabilités

• Shape the 1-3 year plan for security platforms aligned to cyber strategy.
• Evaluate new capabilities, run proofs of value, deploy to production.
• Own live platforms, manage health reporting and continuous improvement.
• Partner across business and tech teams, govern controls and supplier performance.
• Support SOC with detections and telemetry; ensure regulatory and PCI DSS obligations.
