Job summary

Qantas Group is seeking an experienced Manager Cyber Defence - Endpoint, Identity & Data Protection to lead a subset of core security platforms from evaluation to production. This hands-on role demands strong collaboration with business and technology teams across the Group to ensure robust controls and timely deployment.

You will guide 1–3 year platform plans, own live services, and work with SOC and Cyber Assurance to maintain evidenced controls.

Qualifications

• At least seven years in cyber security or information security roles.
• Experience owning and operating enterprise security platforms, especially endpoints and identity controls.
• Experience securing cloud and SaaS environments (AWS, MS 365, CSPM, CASB).
• Proven track record from evaluation to deployment to production.

Responsibilities

• Shape the 1-3 year plan for core security platforms.
• Evaluate new capabilities and drive proof of value.
• Own platforms post-deployment with health reporting and policy tuning.
• Govern controls, risks, and supplier performance to meet regulatory obligations.
• Support Security Operations Centre with detections and telemetry.
