Qantas Airways seeks a hands-on Manager Cyber Defence - Endpoint, Identity & Data Protection to lead the engineering and deployment of core security platforms. You will own endpoint, identity and data protection controls across the Group, coordinating with security operations, risk and business teams to ensure robust protection.

You will oversee 1–3 year platform planning, drive deployment, and maintain live services with a focus on security governance, SIEM, and cloud/SaaS security.

Qualifications

• At least seven years' experience in cyber security, information security or technology risk, including hands-on security engineering experience.
• Hands-on with endpoint and identity controls, and experience securing cloud/SaaS environments.
• Experience in large, complex or regulated environments with governance, policies and risk assessments.

Responsabilités

• Shape the 1-3 year plan for your platforms, aligning priorities with Cyber strategy and business goals.
• Identify new capabilities, run evaluation and value proofs, deploy into production and steady state service.
• Own platforms post-live, including control health reporting and policy tuning.
• Partner with business, technology, vendors and peers to govern controls, risks and performance.
• Support Security Operations Centre with detections and telemetry and coordinate with Cyber Assurance.
