Mackay Regional Council is seeking an experienced Senior Leading Hand Maintenance to join our Civil Operations team. This hands-on leadership role focuses on delivering safe, high-quality road and drainage maintenance and construction works across the region.

You will lead daily supervision, plan works, and ensure safety practices on site. The role requires supervising small to medium work teams, interpreting drawings, and using corporate systems.

Qualifikationen

• Certificate III in Civil Construction (or relevant experience)
• General Construction Safety 'White' Card
• Current QLD 'C' Class Driver Licence
• Experience supervising and motivating small to medium work teams
• Experience in road and drainage construction/maintenance
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and survey information; proficient with work orders, data collection, and corporate systems
