Job summary

City of Moreton Bay is seeking a Crew Leader for the Roads and Drains team in Narangba. You will lead a labourer, identify materials, allocate resources, and ensure safe, well-maintained infrastructure across roads and drainage networks.

Role focuses on hands-on maintenance, control of tasks, and coordinating day-to-day activities. Requires MR truck licence, White Card, TM Licence or willingness to obtain within 6 months; Certificate III in Civil Construction desirable.

Qualifications

• Hands-on civil infrastructure maintenance experience or construction, with some leadership on jobs and day-to-day coordination.
• Strong communication skills for internal/external stakeholders; comfortable with safety processes and using council systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance tasks in roads and drains, identify materials, and allocate resources.
• Oversee safety, quality, and documentation; manage work orders and basic admin tasks.
• Perform/coordinate repairs on pathways, kerbs, drains, signs, and related infrastructure.
