Job summary

Moreton Bay Regional Council is seeking a Labourer to join the Roads and Drains team in Narangba. The role involves hands-on maintenance across road and drainage networks, with a 76-hour fortnight and a 12% superannuation package. A current MR truck licence and Construction Induction Card are required.

Performs duties under a Crew Leader, with opportunities to contribute to public safety and infrastructure resilience while enjoying the nine-day fortnight and ongoing study and training options.

Qualifications

• Recent experience performing labouring tasks related to infrastructure.
• Ability to perform manual tasks safely and physically capable.
• Experience working on civil infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform pathway and footpath repairs and replacements, including concrete areas.
• Repair kerb and channel, including lintels and stormwater grates.
• Replace and maintain manholes, covers, pits and catch pits.
• Undertake stormwater network maintenance (pipes, headwalls, open drains).
• Clear and maintain open drains and drainage infrastructure.
