Job summary

Disability Dynamics is seeking a Recruitment Manager to lead end-to-end recruitment and workforce planning in Malvern East, VIC. You will manage two Recruitment Officers and partner with senior leadership to ensure staffing needs are anticipated and met with qualified candidates.

The role focuses on NDIS compliance, safeguarding, and adherence to Fair Work standards, SCHADS Award, and modern awards within Australia’s disability sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business, Industrial Relations or a related discipline.
• At least five years of relevant recruitment/HR experience, including at least two years in a supervisory capacity.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes and leading recruitment or HR team members.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, the National Employment Standards and modern award requirements.
• Experience in the Australian disability services sector or a regulated, community-based care environment.
• Knowledge of NDIS workforce screening, safeguarding, onboarding and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with SCHADS Award where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Develop recruitment strategies aligned with organisational objectives and workforce requirements.
• Lead workforce forecasting and maintain talent pipelines to support growth.
• Oversee the complete recruitment lifecycle from advertising to onboarding.
• Ensure compliance with pre-employment screening and right-to-work checks.
• Provide HR advisory on employment conditions, performance management and grievances.
• Lead two Recruitment Officers and conduct performance reviews.
• Analyse recruitment metrics and drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with senior management to align recruitment with operations.
