Job summary

Wood is seeking a Principal Process Engineer to join our Melbourne team. This project‑lead role supervises a team of process engineers and provides subject matter expertise across oil and gas production facilities design, including warm and hydrate management, flow assurance, and FEED inputs.

The successful candidate will present study findings to clients, drive to a single recommended option, and ensure quality across deliverables with interdisciplinary reviews.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years post graduate experience in oil and gas facilities design.
• In-depth lead or focal point experience.
• Experience presenting process studies to clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead small teams of process engineers to meet deadlines within budgets.
• Provide process engineering SME input for concept designs.
• Develop design deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, and heat balances.
• Guide interdisciplinary reviews and ensure QMS compliance.
