Job summary

Skip Loans Pty Ltd is seeking a founding Platform Engineer to own the platform, security, and deployment pipelines. You will design and enforce least-privilege, automate provisioning, and build a scalable, observable infrastructure for a fast-growing home loan platform in Australia.

You will lead security posture, vulnerability management, and incident response while enabling engineers to ship frequently with confidence and safety.

Qualifications

• Senior capability with autonomy and breadth; ownership from scratch.
• Experience securing cloud infrastructure in production.
• Strong focus on automation, policy-as-code and guardrails.

Responsibilities

• Own platform security posture and least-privilege controls.
• Define and own CI/CD, deployment pipelines and risk controls.
• Lead vulnerability management, incident response and monitoring.
• Automate onboarding/offboarding and device fleet management.
• Build self-healing, production-like preview environments.
