Job summary

Sucasa is building the next generation of home loan platforms in Australia. We seek a founding Platform Engineer to own security, reliability, and observability by default, crafting an automation‑first path from CI/CD to production.

You'll own platform security, reliability, and developer experience across platform, fleet, and delivery pipelines, with the autonomy to set standards and build guards that scale with the business.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in DevOps/platform/security or operations‑heavy engineering.
• Experience securing cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to own security posture, reliability, and governance end‑to‑end.

Responsibilities

• Own platform security, reliability, and developer experience across surfaces.
• Lead least-privilege design, secret management, and IAM posture.
• Define and test disaster recovery, DR runbooks, and incident response.
• Own deployment controls, preview environments, and GitOps workflows.
• Automate provisioning, patching, and security controls across AWS.
• Provide self‑healing, policy‑as‑code capabilities and guardrails.
