Job summary

Skip Loans is building a high-velocity, security-first DevOps platform in Australia. We’re hiring a senior platform engineer to own platform security, fault tolerance, and automated delivery.

You’ll consolidate security, IAM, and CI/CD practices into a single, scalable harness, with zero-trust posture and automated remediation driving reliability across core lending systems and corporate IT. We expect 6+ years in DevOps/platform/security or similar, strong IaC habits, and experience with AWS,

Qualifications

• 6+ years across DevOps, platform, security, or ops-heavy engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own platform security posture, IAM, secrets management, and network segmentation.
• Own reliability postures, DR/BC planning, and incident response culture.
• Own infrastructure-as-code and the deployment pipeline to enable fast, safe production releases.
• Automate corporate IT and device fleet management (MDM, zero-touch provisioning, identity lifecycle).
• Build self-healing, policy-as-code guardrails and automated remediation.
