Job summary

ING Australia is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to drive platform operations and engineering excellence. You will lead automation, cloud-native platform evolution, and CD capabilities across teams to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable services powering ING’s digital banking experience.

Reporting to the Platform Operations Manager, you will partner with Infrastructure, Architecture, Security, and Software Engineering to elevate DevOps maturity and operational performance while championing best

Qualifications

Experience in software development, infrastructure engineering, or DevOps environments.
Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps.
Knowledge of container technologies, particularly Kubernetes.
Scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Ansible.
Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and MongoDB.
Strong problem-solving with automation focus.
Continuous learning mindset and openness to AI-driven technologies.

Responsibilities

Provide operational and infrastructure support to software delivery and engineering teams.
Build and maintain tools that improve application monitoring, integration, and deployment processes.
Manage and maintain application configuration and code repositories.
Contribute to Platform Engineering initiatives with a focus on CD capabilities.
Automate manual processes and develop solutions that improve operational efficiency and reliability.
