Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years building and shipping production software, preferably in Golang and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Linux environments, event streaming platforms (Kafka or similar) and real-time data processing.
• Experience with observability tools (Grafana, Victoria Metrics, Elasticsearch), CI/CD practices, databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB), and RESTful APIs; familiarity with GraphQL or gRPC a plus.
• Exposure to AI/ML frameworks (LangChain, PyTorch) or workflow orchestration tools (N8N, Temporal) highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of scalable automation and observability platforms that operate at national telco scale.
• Drive technical initiatives from concept to production, balancing performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with network engineers, product teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate operational needs into technical solutions.
• Solve complex problems across the full stack, from streaming data pipelines to AI-powered automation systems.
• Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and introduce new technologies to improve team efficiency.
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident response for critical production systems.
