Job summary

Sharp & Carter is seeking an experienced Planning Manager to lead the maintenance planning function at a large regional Queensland site. You’ll manage planning teams aligned to plant sections, working with the Shutdown Manager, engineers and trades.

The role demands a practical leader who remains steady through change and focuses on long-term reliability. With responsibility for five to six shutdowns annually, you will drive SAP/CMMS optimisation, master data hygiene and KPI reporting to support

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading maintenance planning teams in heavy-asset plants.
• Strong SAP/CMMS skills with reliable KPI reporting.
• Experience planning major shutdowns and maintenance spend.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the planning team.
• Own maintenance planning and scheduling across the site.
• Plan and support five to six shutdowns yearly.
• Embed KPI routines and schedule adherence.
• Partner with Shutdown Manager and site capex team.
• Be visible on the shopfloor during shutdowns.
