Job summary

Laptek Systems Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Operations & Delivery Manager to lead the safe, efficient, and profitable delivery of maintenance and shutdown services across our client portfolio in the Australian mining sector.

You will oversee planning, mobilisation, execution, demobilisation and close-out, manage budgets and performance, and build strong client relationships while championing a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading maintenance, shutdown, or project delivery teams in mining or heavy industry.
• Strong operational planning and scheduling capability.
• Commercial acumen with budgets, margins and project performance.
• Proven experience managing client relationships and delivering service outcomes.
• Leadership skills to motivate and coach teams.
• Knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management and HSEQ systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety culture and ensure compliance with standards.
• Oversee risk management, incident investigations, corrective actions.
• Lead planning, scheduling, resourcing, and delivery of shutdown and maintenance projects.
• Ensure profitability, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and resource utilisation.
• Monitor financial performance and manage supplier/subcontractor performance.
• Build and maintain client relationships as the primary operational contact.
• Lead, coach and develop supervisors and teams.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, productivity, quality and cost.
• Maintain operational records and support audits.
