Job summary

WorkPac Mackay is seeking an experienced Mechanical & Structural Site Supervisor to join our operations team for upcoming shutdown work across the Bowen Basin. You will lead mechanical crews on 12-hour shutdown rosters, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards on wash plant projects.

This role offers ongoing opportunities with a strong safety culture, leadership responsibilities, and the chance to coordinate across multiple mine sites.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising mechanical or structural shutdown crews in mining.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Current S1, S2, S3 & G2 certification and medical clearance.
• Valid driver's licence and clear communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of mechanical and structural crews.
• Lead shutdown works across Wash Plants and mining infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures and legislation.
• Plan, schedule and oversee shutdown activities to meet deadlines.
• Promote a safety-first culture and lead by example.
• Maintain high standards of quality, productivity and environmental performance.
• Foster a positive, high-performing team environment.
