Bacchus Marsh Primary School in Victoria is seeking a capable Leading Teacher to drive whole-school improvement and lead curriculum development across learning areas. You will coach teaching staff, implement priority initiatives and support high standards of student learning and wellbeing.

The role involves coordinating professional development, managing staff performance, and contributing to school policy; a strong focus on leadership and collaboration within a government school context.

Qualifications

• Provisional or full registration approved by the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
• If postgraduate initial teacher education studied after 1 Jan 2024, must meet Australian accreditation standards.
• LANTITE literacy and numeracy requirements for ITE graduates (post-2016 intake).

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage the implementation of whole-school improvement initiatives related to the school strategic plan and priorities.
• Lead curriculum planning and delivery across key learning areas and ensure high-quality teaching.
• Coordinate and provide professional development for teaching staff within school priorities.
• Lead staff performance and development (reviews).
• Deliver teaching demonstration lessons and contribute to assessment and reporting policies.
• Develop and implement the school code of conduct and student welfare policies.
• Contribute to school policy development and strategic planning.
