Department of Education Victoria is seeking highly skilled leading teachers to improve teaching workforce performance and curriculum delivery. You will coordinate staff, guide data-informed improvement, and support development across the school’s priorities.

Responsibilities include leading whole-school improvement, curriculum development, staff performance reviews, and contributing to policy and welfare practices. A strong focus on collaboration and professional learning is required.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of the relevant curriculum and the ability to lead the implementation of school priorities.
• Ability to plan and implement high-impact teaching strategies responsive to student needs.
• Ability to monitor and assess student learning data to drive improvement initiatives.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to engage with students, staff, parents and the wider community.
• Model behaviours aligned with Department values and support whole-school professional learning.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage whole‑school improvement initiatives in line with the school plan.
• Coordinate curriculum planning and delivery across learning areas to improve student outcomes.
• Develop and support staff through professional development and performance review.
• Contribute to policy development and school council proposals.
• Lead development of the school's code of conduct and student welfare practices.
